Hillside Bothy

A freestanding fused glass 'S' wave depicting a Scottish 'Bothy'. A Bothy is a small dwelling, which can be found scattered around the Scottish Highlands, some can be used for those in need of shelter.

These panels are created using powdered and coloured glass, which are then fired under high temperatures in a kiln. There is then a second firing required to mold the glass to the 'S' shape, which enables it to stand on a shelf, furniture or window sill allowing light to enhance the colours.
